The Hastings Village Arts Commission proudly presents the 2nd annual Take Me To The River Festival celebrating folk, blues, jazz and rock musicians. There will also be activities for children, food and local vendors.
“Bring your picnic blanket, extend the summer vibe and enjoy some amazing music,” the group urges.
Among other things, the festival features:Â
• Performances by: Gil Parris, Tim Armacost’s Chordless Quintet, Gillen & Turk, Steve Kirkman, Falcon Ridge Folk Festival Emerging Artist Anthony da Costa, George Stavis, The Filmores, The Robert Hill Band, Blues Mothers, Missing Chums, Boku, Kelly Flint, Cops and Robbers, Walkabout Clearwater Chorus, Solar Punch, and more.
• Children’s tent with live performances, drum circle, and more.
• Nature tent.
• Circle of Song Sing Down: An opportunity for anyone to bring their instrument of voice and share music around the campfire.

• Sept. 13, rain or shine
• 1 pm to 8 pm
• $10 adults; kids 18 & under and seniors are free
• Draper Park, 407 Broadway, Hastings. Enter park on foot at Washington Avenue. Free shuttle service from Hastings High School.
