Barenaked Ladies duo on board for youth cancer event

May
1

Look for Barenaked Ladies’ singer/guitartist Ed Robertson and keyboard player Kevin Hearn to take the stage at Monday’s OMG! Cancer Summit for Young Adults at Baruch College.

Robertson and Hearn are doing their part to raise awareness and funds for kids with cancer, a worthwhile cause and a personal mission for Hearn, a cancer survivor.

Robertson and Hearn’s appearance comes while the Canadian rockers take a break from touring — the band does have a couple of dates scheduled for the end of June.

Co-sponsored by the “I’m Too Young For This!” cancer foundation and the White Plains-based Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, the event will be at the Baruch Performing Arts Center, 55 Lexington Ave., NYC.

The BNL duo is scheduled to perform at 8:45 p.m. It will be the second annual OMG! cancer summit.
