Byrne, Reed join violinist Muldaur on stage

Violinist Jenni Muldaur, who’s been touring with former Talking Head David Byrne and his band, got a helping hand on stage at The Living Room this week, Relix magazine reports.
Muldaur was joined by both Byrne and onetime Velvet Underground frontman Lou Reed, Relix says.
Muldaur was backing her latest album, Dearest Darlin’ at The Living Room on Ludlow Street. She’s also toured with Reed, who was on hand to mark the album’s upcoming release.
She may not be a household name, but Muldaur has an impressive resume, starting when she was a teenager. She started out playing with Todd Rundgren, and has also played with artists as prominent as Eric Clapton and Steely Dan. So, she may make some noise in the near future.
Her new album was produced by Steve Rosenthal, who has Suzanne Vega among his credits, as well as Don Fleming, who has worked with Sonic Youth.
