Bruce: I’ll be there for Giants Stadium’s swan song

May

Hall of Fame rocker Bruce Springsteen told fans at his recent Izod Center show that he would play Giants Stadium this fall, before the sports and entertainment venue is torn down.

Here’s the report from Rolling Stone magazine:

Before Giants Stadium is torn down to make way for the New York Giants’ new $1.3 billion home, New Jersey’s Bruce Springsteen will say goodbye with a series of gigs. Springsteen told fans at his May 21 gig at the Izod Center in East Rutherford, New Jersey, that he’ll be returning to the Meadowlands one last time, for a three-concert stint planned for September 30, October 2 and October 3.

Well, that should be something. Might be the hottest ticket of the year, even with U2 and Green Day touring.
